Reggie Miller
Reggie Miller
Reggie Miller is a legend in another sport. He’s an NBA Hall of Famer, an Olympic basketball gold medalist, a FIBA Word Champion, and a main color commentator for live NBA broadcasts on TNT. But if you ask Reggie what he is, he’ll tell you he’s a cyclist. And he means it.
Reggie got his first taste of mountain biking in 2001 during the NBA off-season and quickly became a self-proclaimed weekend warrior while still playing in the NBA and then transitioning to broadcasting on 2007. In 2010 a riding partner challenged him to enter an MTB race and from the moment he rolled up the starting line, all the competitive juices came flowing back, and he was hooked.
Reggie now trains five days a week and enters more than a dozen XC/Endurance races a year. And just like in his basketball career, he’s not just there for the fun of it, he’s in it to win it. It’s the only way he knows.
