Do It Yourself - Maintenance Guides
We make quality bicycles that are built to last. We make them easy to service without specialist tools or specialist skills. So easy that even members of our marketing team can do it with one eye closed (if we hide the sharp tools from them). All the spare parts you'll need can be found in the shop, click here to get a set of replacement bearings (free for original owners), and below you'll find some simple-to-follow guides for the basic service jobs.
However, if you don't know which end of a hammer to hold then we'd suggest taking your bike along to a local professional mechanic to do the work for you.
VPP™ Bearing Service
Here’s what you need to know about servicing your upper and lower linkage bearings: the little spin-spins that keep your bike running smooth so you can blame literally anything else for how you’re riding today.
